2026 ASTC Roadshows

2026 Roadshow Call for Presenters

For 2026, we're doing things a little bit differently. Instead of hosting a single 2-day Conference in one location, we're going on the road with 1-day Conferences in:

Sydney — Friday September 18 2026

Melbourne — Friday 16 October 2026

If you're interested in presenting at either of these, check out the following information and get back to us by the appropriate deadlines.

Download our Call for Presenters PDF form here.

Presentation Information

Sessions are 45 minutes long, including an introduction, questions, and change of presenter. We recommend planning 30 to 35 minutes for your presentation.

You need to provide your presenter notes early so we can incorporate them into the program. Check the important dates information below.

For presentation format, we highly recommend you provide your presentation to us in widescreen PowerPoint format. Widescreen (16:9) slides have a size of 33.9 x 19.1 cm.

If you have more than one idea for a presentation, complete a proposal form for each idea. To apply, provide the following details about your proposals:

Why Speak at the ASTC Roadshow?

ASTC Conferences are the perfect opportunity to influence and network with your professional community in an open and friendly environment.

If your presentation proposal is accepted, you receive free entrance for the day, giving you the chance to listen to a host of other great speakers.

Who Can Speak?

Anybody! We're looking for a wide range of people, both members and non-members, technical communicators, and people from related fields.

If you have a topic that fits in with, or is closely relate to our theme, whether you're an experienced presenter or not, we'd like to hear from you. We're always looking for new, innovative, and interesting topics. We don't require a minimum level of experience. We have support materials to help if you've never created or presented a talk.

Presenting at an ASTC Conference helps to improve your confidence, add to your communication toolbox, and extends your network of professional contacts.

Presentations don't need to be directly technical writing related. If you have an idea that is on the periphery, talk to us.
